About Tufunzeni

Tufunzeni is a non-profit organization in Kenya, founded in 2019, dedicated to empowering educators. Its mission is to build a vibrant community of teachers by providing holistic support through four core pillars:

1. Professional Development & Growth

2. Teacher Well-being & Community

3. School & Curriculum Innovation

4. Excellence & Recognition

The organization has reached over 2,000 teachers, facilitated 38 scholarships, and built a network of over 150 mentor-mentee pairs. It is governed by a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee, with a leadership structure designed for both strategic oversight.
